Kate Kirschner is a psychotherapist based in New York City and Westchester, specializing in perinatal mental health and parenting support. Her grandmother escaped Odessa in a hay wagon in 1921 and ended up in Brooklyn by way of Sopot, Poland. Her great-grandfather died in Breendonk. Kate now lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with her husband and two sons and is an active member of the Jewish community and a fierce advocate of progressive causes. She has been honored to serve on the AIPG Advisory Board since 2013.
